We played a game called Memoir in a Jar where some were able to answer random questions drawn from a jar.
Tracy was asked to provide a recap of the year for KAC. She took the opportunity to thank Duane Johnson as past state president for his leadership through the Covid pandemic the past year. She believes that technologies will continue to improve and that KAC is poised to use them to continue improving. She added that this 104-year-old club has come even further in the past 15 years. Tracy reminds members to check the KAC and district newsletter weekly because there’s so much opportunity and so much happening. This is the way our state board keeps us informed. Also, please visit the web page in the next couple days to complete the survey they are currently running. Finally, the deadline for submissions to the state yearbook has been extended to December 31. PLEASE submit. Include your web address as authors or other information you want to share.
Next were readings by Ruth Maus, Anne Spry, Max Dunavan, Fred Applehanz, Duane Johnson, Barbara Brady, Carol Yoho, Reaona Hemmingway and short memoir stories by Tracy Million Simmons and Glory Hemmingway.
